                    Loss/damage to cargo
                    Cargo insurance claims
                    Late arrival of shipping documents
                   Illegal charges levied on shippers
                   Short-landing of cargo

Support Services

Freight and port charges negotiations / monitoring

Ensuring availability of shipping space to shippers through liner and chartering services.

Management of Maritime databank and publication of regular Digest of Maritime Statistics and Shipping Review;

Maritime seminars and workshops for import and export shippers to update them on developments in the dynamic international shipping environment.

Publication of bi-weekly movement of vessels to and from Ghanaian Ports.

Provision of up to date information on cargo consolidation and trans shipments. Operation of a maritime information and documentation centre.

Provision of relevant information / data as a contribution to the formulation of maritime policy in Ghana.

Provision of indemnity for shippers.
